Sovereign AI is our software configuration — OS, middleware, AI stack and integration interfaces — designed and optimised to run on NVIDIA Jetson Orin. Not a consumer device, not an enterprise server rack: a robust embedded system designed for industrial environments, offices, server rooms and production lines.
The architecture is modular and adaptable: the same base OS supports different configurations — LLM assistant, vision system, process supervisor, node in a distributed fleet — without changing the deployment or management paradigm.
A configuration is available with a local LLM integrated with an open-source automation engine: the model does not just respond, it takes actions — reads files, fills in forms, interacts with business systems. AI that acts, not just talks.

Private LLM + RAG
Conversational AI assistant trained on your documents. Contracts, manuals, knowledge bases, internal archives: the team queries everything in natural language, without a single byte leaving the network.
Inline AI Vision
Real-time inference on high-speed line-scan cameras. Defect detection, dimensional measurements, material classification — on-device, at 60+ fps, integrated with existing PLCs and MES.
AI process supervision
Continuous monitoring of operational flows, production lines, plants. Real-time anomaly detection, configurable alerting, operational dashboard. AI does not just answer queries: it observes and flags issues before the problem becomes a machine stoppage.
On-prem AI Agents
AI agents that operate autonomously within your network: read documents, query internal systems, take actions on management software and workflows — without ever touching external cloud services. Same power as cloud agents, total data sovereignty.
Predictive maintenance
The Jetson directly acquires data from physical sensors — vibration, temperature, current, pressure — and runs anomaly detection models on it. It signals a failure hours or days before it occurs, without cloud, without network latency. An unexpected machine stoppage always costs more than any monitoring system.
Distributed fleet
Multiple sites, multiple plants, multiple nodes — one single console. With balenaOS every device updates via OTA, is monitored and managed centrally. Add a node and it configures itself automatically. Automatic rollback in case of anomaly.

Line-scan cameras
We work with high-resolution line-scan cameras for continuous inspection on belts, rollers and extrusion lines. Every line of pixels is analysed in real time at production speed — no missed frame, no blind spot.
On-device inference with TensorRT
Models run directly on the Jetson Orin, optimised with TensorRT for minimum latency. No data sent to the cloud: inference happens where the data originates, in a few milliseconds, even on air-gapped networks.
Native OT integration
The system connects to existing PLCs and MES via OPC-UA, Modbus or MQTT. A detected defect can stop the belt, generate an alert, write to the MES — without any additional middleware.
On-board LLM for document analysis
The LLM module also runs on the same device. The system not only sees the defect — it can automatically consult the technical manual, BOM or product sheet to contextualise the anomaly and suggest the corrective action.

Zero-touch provisioning
Connect the device to the network and it configures itself. Downloads the configuration from the fleet manager, registers, and is operational. No manual intervention.
OTA updates
OS, AI models and applications update remotely, at scheduled times, with minimal deltas. Automatic rollback if the update fails the health check.
Fleet monitoring
Status of every node in real time: uptime, temperature, GPU load, software version. Centralised dashboard, anomaly alerts, remote logs.

From a single office to dozens of plants in different countries. Each node runs isolated on its local network — centralised management does not require opening the corporate network.
